MISSION
THE REGIONAL INNOVATION NETWORK, RIR RIBES-NEST, RECOGNIZED BY THE VENETO REGIONAL COUNCIL WITH DGR 1967 OF 2016, WAS ESTABLISHED TO FACILITATE GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT
through interaction between traditional sectors and emerging sectors that revolve around the Health and Smart Nutrition Ecosystem.
The entities involved are primarily regional companies characterized by a common Vision: a focus on scientific research and innovation applied to products and processes. A methodological approach that finds fertile and receptive ground in the research institutions present in the North-East, in addition to the numerous and qualified scientific competencies recognized internationally.
VISION
THE VISION SHARED BY ALL ENTITIES PARTICIPATING IN THE RIBES-NEST REGIONAL INNOVATION NETWORK IS SCIENCE-BASED, ORIENTED TOWARD THE DEVELOPMENT AND ENHANCEMENT OF PRODUCTS
through research activities and application of technologies aimed at identifying new solutions for smart nutrition, health, and wellness, responding innovatively to the demands of increasingly discerning and informed consumers.
RIBES-NEST includes Companies and Knowledge Entities (Universities, Research Institutions, Business Schools) that adopt the innovation network model, drawing inspiration from the guidelines contained in Regional Law No. 13 of May 30, 2014, and the subsequent operational provisions contained in DGR 583 of 2015, which identify Regional Innovation Networks (RIR) as the most suitable model to facilitate collaboration between Companies and Knowledge Entities and to increase the development of certain sectors with high innovative content.
